Mr. McGovern concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of business, employment and construction litigation. He has further appeared as lead counsel in numerous jury and non-jury trials, both within and outside the State of Missouri. He further has extensive experience in arguing cases at the appellate level before both the Missouri Court of Appeals and the Seventh and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeal. He has litigated many matters before a variety of administrative agencies including the Missouri Administrative Hearing Commission, General Services Board of Contract Appeals, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Missouri Commission on Human Rights and other state and federal agencies.

Mr. McGovern obtained a degree in political science with a minor in business administration from Truman State University, cum laude, and his law degree from the University of Missouri. He was selected to the Order of The Barristers while at the University of Missouri. Mr. McGovern is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Illinois Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Missouri Bar Association.
