Ms. Walsh practices in the areas of Reinsurance & Insurance Insolvency, Litigation, Appellate Practice and State and Local Taxation Litigation. Since joining the firm in 1994, Ms. Walsh has been Associate General Counsel to Transit Casualty Company in Receivership. She has also worked for other insurance insolvencies including Midland Insurance Company in Liquidation and has performed reinsurance collection work for the Kemper Companies. Ms. Walsh also does class action and other tax refund work along with other commercial litigation. In addition, in the area of Appellate Practice, Ms. Walsh has successfully argued several appeals before both state and federal appeals courts.
